Jump On Three’s new show this past Friday at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre was so much fun.
Take a look at these pictures. This team has been performing together for over a year now and every time we get on stage together I am amazed at how much we can accomplish as a group. We benefit so much from working together and getting on the same page.
My favorite scene of the night was with Samantha Warnick. We both sat down and looked out toward the audience. Without speaking, it became apparent that we were two audience members struggling with uncomfortable seats as we watched a recital of some sort. As the scene progressed, J.D. Amato sat down behind us and he kept getting his sightline blocked by our shifting heads. Scott and Maelle began filling in background music of the unseen show. Followed shortly by Matt Dennie as a cantankerous man, scolding us to “Show some respect for our troops.” Phil Jackson delivered the button-line, “Thank you, and now to begin our show.” So much fun.The show had its faults too, it was by no means perfect, but definitely looking forward to doing it again next month.
Well said, Matt Starr.
