Samantha Warnick

I want to take a moment to mention my dad. He has always been extremely supportive of my dream to be an actor; from driving me to community theater auditions as a kid to sending me to the ever over-priced theater camp, stagedoor manor, as a teen to helping me pay for my classes at UCB in my late twenties - he has always done what he could to give me the best opportunities as a performer. It never ceases to amaze me and I always realize how lucky I am when my dad is the only parent (and some times one of just a few audience members) there at Under St. Marks laughing above the crowd. Perhaps he has a soft spot for me and my dreams because was ALSO AN IMPROVISER!! In the 70’s he performed and toured with the Boston based group, the Proposition. That, in itself, is seriously rad.

He has gotten into photography lately and I think his pictures are really great.

Anyway, I love my dad and I think he is just the tops. Here is a cool picture that he took and a picture of us that he probably doesn’t like.
